Time to Spring Clean Your Business Friends!

Updated: Apr 8, 2022

As you are spring cleaning your home, don't forget about your business. In business, we are often caught up in the daily running of our business, so it is difficult for us to just sit back, take stock and organize not only our minds, but also our workflow. So open the windows, turn on your spring cleaning playlist & let's start spring cleaning your business by

- Freshen up your website. Can you upload new photos, blogs, branding information, contact information? Are there new themes, widgets & plugins you add/remove/change?

- Review your products/services. Maybe get rid of any that are no longer effective & review prices on those doing well.

- Organize your inbox & cloud storage. Create rules and folders for incoming emails, delete autoresponder emails, unsubscribe from mailing lists, create folders for clients, audit your cloud storage, move documents to correct folders & archive anything you don't need.

- Review your customer database. Update their details, re-engage with old contacts.

- Review your social media. Unfollow pages no longer relevant or people that you’ve no interest in.

- Create standardized forms and save them centrally for use across the business.

- Review your terms and conditions. Do they need updating?

- Go green! Scan everything you need to keep, develop a filing system and a good offsite backup & then develop procedures to prevent a paper build-up in the future.

Remember…Spring cleaning is always something that takes time and generally isn’t much fun, but ultimately it is time well spent. Especially if it leaves you with a more efficient process, decluttered mind & remotivated.

ANNNDDD...don’t forget, you could always hire The Virtual Socialite to help you with your cleaning!
